Natalie & Daniel ~ Goldings Wines

Natalie & Daniel celebrated their stunning wedding at Golding Wines, in the picturesque Adelaide Hills. Surrounded by lush vineyards, ancient gum trees and rolling hills they said their vows and their ‘I do’s’ in front of all the people they love most in the world. It was a truly unforgettable day.

Golding Wines is a beautiful and unique venue and offers several equally beautiful locations for ceremonies. Natalie and Daniel chose the pristine, manicured lawns to have their ceremony then they kicked on with their reception in the beautifully crafted sandstone barn - a perfect backdrop to a night of celebration.

So let me tell you a little more about these two gorgeous humans! Their story started nearly a decade ago in a rather unconventional way: Natalie was one of Daniels first clients during his massage therapy training. Despite Natalie only being dressed in a towel, Daniel was the ultimate professional. There was an undeniable spark that day for sure, but it took almost a year for them to act on it. Determined to get to know Daniel better, Natalie booked more massage appointments, and there were no complaints from Daniel, however he was keen for an official date with a bit more clothing, so he asked her out.

This date turned into a 24hour epic adventure that neither wanted to end. They started with a movie, then climbed to a secret lookout with a view of the city where they watched the world go by. When it began to rain, they drove to the beach, spending the night talking and losing complete track of time. It wasn’t until Natalie’s mum called wondering where she was, that they realised how late it had become. Not wanting the magic to end, they returned to Natalie’s house, where they spent the entire day watching movies and baking cakes. It was perfect.

Natalie felt she had found someone incredibly special, while Daniel was a bundle of nerves, thinking Natalie was the most beautiful girl he had ever met! It was love at first sight for both of them and the start of something truly special.

In 2018 Daniel was a man with a plan, he was going to propose. They were in the stunning Blue Mountains and when he had found the perfect spot, with no one around, he nervously got down on one knee. Although he stumbled over his words as he was saying the speech he had prepared, he did manage to say loud and clear, ‘Will you marry me?’, to which a very shocked Natalie said a huge ‘yes!’.

It was an honour and a privilege to be the celebrant who married these two and to be part of their very special day! Thank you, Natalie & Daniel!
